Best Moment of the Week: Getting to term...37 weeks! Also I recently found out he isn't breech! SO I get to try and have a vaginal delivery!

32 Weeks 2 Days
How Far Along: 32 weeks 2 days
Size of Baby: 3.75-4 pounds, 17 inches
Maternity Clothes: Besides sweatshirts and sweatpants its all maternity!
Weight Gain: 163 pounds. Dr says I'm right on track!
Belly: Here is last weeks pic...
Stretch Marks: Nope!
Sleep: It is getting really hard to get comfortable. I alternate from one sore hip to the other. Rolling over requires some effort!
Best Moment of the Week: I've had 4 showers already and one more next week! I feel so blessed!
Movement: He loves to hang out on my left side with his head under my ribs and shoved in my groin...eeee! Sometimes he visits my right side which is a welcomed relief! Which he just moved to as I am typing this ironically enough! Now just waiting for him to flip to head down!
Symptoms: I continue to have a burning aching pain that is almost constant when I'm on my feet on my LUQ (that's medical jargon for left upper quadrant). It's really getting difficult to work with it. I can also add heartburn and shortness of breath to the list :)
Food Cravings: Nothing new!
What I Miss: Still missing me some Summer Shanty Beer!
What I'm Looking Forward To: Meeting this little guy!
Milestones: Baby can detect temperature! Baby also has a 90% chance of survival if born today :)
Emotions: It depends on the day. Recently I have been struggling with some depression. The Dr wanted me to try a medication but after Josh and I discussed it we decided to hold off on that. Even though the risk to baby is small we want to put the baby first if we can.

28 Weeks
How Far Along: 28 weeks 1 day
Size of Baby: 2 and a quarter pounds, 14.8 inches
Maternity Clothes: Yes. I tried on my non-maternity capris last week and they fit but then today I tried on a different pair and I could barely pull them up to my hips. I couldn't zip them at all. Upon realizing this I burst into tears! How did I get so big? My mom and Sarah were over and I think they were surprised I was crying over this. I calmed down really quickly. Sometimes my emotions just aren't rational! LOL!
Weight Gain: Last time I was at the Dr's I was 162. UGH!
Belly: See above pic!
Stretch Marks: Nope!
Sleep: Its getting more difficult. I have to prop my belly up when I sleep on my side which is pretty much the only position I can sleep in. My hips and back hurt too.
Best Moment of the Week: I still enjoy feeling baby move but not when I'm trying to fall asleep. He's been moving a lot lately! He likes to shove is feet really low in my pelvis...ouch!
Movement: Somersaults!
Symptoms: I have a burning aching pain that is almost constant just to the right of my stomach but still on my left side almost in the middle right where my ribs end. I think its a nerve and muscle that is being stretched. It hurts a lot after a 12 hour shift. Dr said it will probably get worse and last a little even after I have the baby :( Back is starting to hurt more too.
Food Cravings: Reeses Peanut Butter Cups/Pieces, I have much more of a sweet tooth than normal.
What I Miss: Summer Shanty Beer!
What I'm Looking Forward To: Getting the carpet laid tomorrow, finishing the dresser, getting my crib and putting it together.
Milestones: Baby can see light! He is also growing hair.
Emotions: A little emotional and cranky but okay!

Best Moment of the Week: I still really enjoy watching my little guy dance around. We finished painting the nursery so that is good too. And I FINALLY cleaned out the closet (with much help from my mom). It felt so good to organize and get rid of stuff I don't use anymore.
Movement: I'm starting to be able to feel baby head and booty. Its fun to guess how he's laying!
Symptoms: Hungry ALL THE TIME!!! New on the list is pelvic pressure. I can't imagine how it feels when your 40 weeks! Makes it hard to be on your feet all night at work! I'm also starting to get a faint linea nigra. Not super excited about that! Lastly I feel like I need to pee all the time as well!
Food Cravings: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Coke (in moderation of course), any baked good with lemon in it and finally a banana split which I have yet to get!
What I Miss: Sleeping on my back. Sangria :)

It's been a while!
These past two weeks have had some highs and some lows. For the most part they've been good. But the few bad days were pretty bad. It started with weird pains in my lower abdomen. I was worried because I hadn't felt these pains before. I've had ligament pain but this felt different. It wasn't that it was so painful just that I wondered what was causing it. I started to convince myself my cervix must be dilating. It felt so soft and different than normal. I called my OB and set up an appointment. I had to work that night though and of course there is a patient who is 16 weeks pregnant who is in the process of having a miscarriage. The second I hear about it I start to get teary eyed. I start to think about the real possibility that this could be me. Luckily I didn't have her as a patient. Its not like I haven't seen demises at work before but I was just so emotional. As the night continued I was distracted with work and I was able to have an okay shift. The next day I went to my OB appointment and thankfully Dr Looby said everything looked normal. But she still ordered a cervical length with my scheduled ultrasound that Saturday. I haven't heard about the results from my ultrasound yet but I would think they would call me if there was an issue. So I feel good and I'm not letting myself worry about it anymore. Plus I'm feeling baby move a lot and Dr Looby said that is the best sign of fetal well being. I still can't wait to get to 24 weeks because that is the week babies are viable! I'm getting close!

Stretch Marks: Not yet...but my belly button is starting to pop out. I have a mole in there I didn't even know existed.
Sleep: I have my good nights and my bad nights. Its a little more uncomfortable but not awful.
